This is a professional sushi restaurant with consistently fresh ingredients. Although it’s a small space, the food is always excellent. They offer hibachi-style dishes, though they aren't cooked in front of you, including options like Katsu, teriyaki, udon noodles, and a variety of bento boxes. They also prepare sushi platters during the holidays, which I’ve tried several times; they serve a large number of people and never fail to impress. I usually order takeout from here, but I’ve dined in a few times as well. The service is always friendly and quick, and the food is presented beautifully and with great professionalism.
This is our most favorite dinner place we go to locally. The sushi is always extremely fresh and always delicious, the rice is always perfect as well. The waitress who has been there forever always recognizes us and she is super nice, as is all the staff at Ichiban. We dine in for lunch or dinner about every other month, and get takeout or delivery about once a month and for special occasions at home. We always get Ichiban for birthdays! The restaurant may not look like much from the outside, but Ichiban is a great place to have lunch or dinner.
I really wish I took a photo of what I ordered, because the hibachi lunches are phenomenal. What's even more impressive is that I ordered the meals from Doordash, so there was a chance of the meals of coming as lukewarm. But they never were. I always ordered the Hibachi Steak Dinner and I'd always replace the miso soup with the clear soup. But this meal was incredible, especially for $12ish. Veggies, good noodles, the beef, the clear soup...so good. Love it. Can't recommend it enough.
This hidden gem is a delightful surprise located in a nondescript little strip mall. It offers a fantastic selection of fish, beef, and chicken dishes. The sushi is crafted by talented chefs right in front of you, making for a truly exceptional experience that I thoroughly enjoyed. Be sure to check out the photos—you won't want to miss this! After driving past this restaurant for years, I was happy to finally stop by while my Tundra is being serviced about a mile away on Route 10. I treated myself to a delicious 3 Roll Lunch Special for $13.95. I particularly enjoyed the sweet potato tempura roll and the eel and avocado roll. The lunch also came with a bowl of miso soup and a fresh, tasty salad topped with a creamy ginger dressing.
We had fried oysters and gyoza as appetizers and tonkatsu and fried rice as our main dish, as a Taiwanran I personally give it 8/10 as a good Japanese food, and 9/10 as authentic Japanese that you can get in the U.S for a decent price.
Came to this lovely place with my wife and we had a wonderful dinner. The inside is nice and clean, service was great and the food was very very good. Highly recommend this spot.
Great little place. Food and service are always to notch. Would recommend. I always get sushi.
