We have been coming here for 28 years. I brought my kids here I brought my grandkids here and my mother-in-law and father-in-law live down the street quarter mile. The last few trips to Rhode Island we were unable to get to Iggy's so it's been a couple of years. We ordered the fish and chips, we ordered red chowder, white chowder and of course clam cake. To say our hearts broke is an understatement. The clam cakes used to be full of clams and had odd shapes because they were hand dropped.. these look definitely balled up like meatballs; like they were shaped.. if not frozen and then reheated. As a longtime customer of Iggy's, I was always very pleased with the food, but on the last few visits I encountered a different experience. This is what prompted me to write this review. One of my annual visits includes a delectable lobster dinner with my dear friend on her birthday. The lobster was dry, what little stuffing there was consisted of tiny bay scallops that were chewy, and the meal was overpriced. It was $147.00 for two 1.25 lb lobster’s, one dessert with two scoops of ice cream, and two cokes. With tip $177.00.
