Well, I'll be as kind as I can be with my experience with IHOP in Santa Rosa on 4th Street. We ordered for delivery which we were told it would arrive between 4:16pm to 4:27pm, it was 3:50pm when we ordered. We live 5 minutes away, my parents are olderand cant take the heat, so, ordering in seemed to be the way to go. Sorry to say this decision was a failed mission. Our foodarrived at close to 5pm and was stone cold. Our order for 3 was missing a whole meal. I shared my sandwhich with my mom and noneof us wanted the cold fries that came with it. My dad's eggs were cold as well as his one and a half strip of super thin bacon.His toast was hard and cold with no butter on it, which was an optio...
The service and food were excellent at this restaurant. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My wife enjoyed the spinach and mushroom omelet with a cheese sauce, chopped tomatoes, onions, and toast. You can also add extra side dishes like ham or bacon. I had the sampler which included bacon, sausage, 2 eggs, hashbrowns, and 2 pancakes. I opted for half of a fluffy French toast instead of hashbrowns and it was delicious. We were stuffed after the meal. The menu is extensive with options like burgers, chicken, omelets, pancakes, crepes, burritos, French toast, waffles, and desserts. They are open from 6 am to 10 pm Sunday through Thursday and 6 am to 12 pm on Friday and Saturday.
That's a good IHOP. We went at 3:00 (Table for 4). Just another table. Our waiter was friendly and as soon as he got caught on us, we were all just gigantic. It was delicious and hot. Nothing spectacular, it's finally IHOP, but none of us had a complaint. Would go back if I ever had to go back to California.
