IHop came out with a new thick and fluffy French Toast menu, and it had my name written all over it. They no longer use regular bread, and have replaced it with artisan bread dip in a vanilla cinnamon batter. There are several toppings you could have on it. I chose the Strawberry Banana, glazed strawberries, fresh bananas, powdered sugar and whip cream. My wife chose the Gingersnap Apple that consisted of sliced cinnamon apples, gingersnap cookie crumbles, red currants, and powdered sugar. This came with the apples, and red currant on the side so you can mix how sweet and tart you want it. Cinnamon apples, and red currant paired perfectly. On 11/28/2021, we stopped off at IHOP for a late brunch when coming back to NJ. We entered the restaurant. The hostess greeted us through a plastic opening. She opened a large protective plastic door to let us enter. We were escorted to the table. The server immediately came over with menus. She wore a mask. We were asked if we would like anything to drink. A few minutes later she came back with water and tea. She took our orders. I had two gluten-free pancakes. They were very good. Of course, I had to put butter and little maple syrup on them. Gluten free pancakes were about a dollar extra. My friend enjoyed the Strawberry and Bananas French Toast. I had the pleasure of dining at IHOP for the first time recently. I was thrilled to see an IHOP as our local one had closed years ago. The hostess quickly seated us and we were served by a wonderful waitress named Ninfa. She was pleasant, accommodating, and made our dining experience enjoyable. We arrived 10 minutes early for IHoppy hour at 2, and Ninfa kindly took our order before the promotion started. I ordered french toast and sausage, while my daughter got a crispy chicken sandwich - both were delicious. To my surprise, our bill came out to only $12 for both meals. Wallingford IHOP came to the rescue when Newington was so completely mobbed on a late Sunday morning that I'm surprised we're not still sitting there! Was it out of my way? Sure, but I wasn't going to let my free combo offer expire, I can tell you that! Three of us were seated immediately and our server was beyond pleasant. So much so that we overlooked her temporarily forgetting the hot chocolate. She made up for it by squirting half a can of whipped cream on top of a soup bowl-sized mug. Overall good service and good quality food. Upon entering the store the have a big barricade set up with a sign, banning you from entering any further than the breezeway without employee permission. A please wait to be seated sign would suffice. It ruins the experience. The sign feels hostile toward some elements, whether that 's people in need of restrooms or what but they should find a more appealing way to design their entry becuz it feels really harsh and mean spirited.

I had an amazing experience for the first time at this restaurant. It seems like they have a new cooking staff at this location because everything was perfectly coordinated. The food was served piping hot and delicious. I'm not sure what changes they made, but it was fantastic. Our waitress was friendly and attentive.

The food was fresh and the portion sizes were just right. Our server was lovely and very friendly. The only downside was the seating arrangement for me and my friend. Even though it was a busy Sunday morning, we felt a bit isolated or excluded in our seating location.

Entry way is blocked off partially in an ugly way. Seats were duct taped together. Some staff were unkind while others were wonderful. Water had an awful chlorine taste but all our food was good. Staff couldn't figure out my coupon but still honored it on my receipt. Reserva una mesa ahora

Our waitress was friendly and our food came out very quickly! My chocolate chip pancakes were excellent as always! The big steak omelette is very large so most of it came home with me. My husband enjoyed his 2x2x2. We will definitely be back again!

IHOP is always a good restaurant. They are noted for their pancake's. Their crapes are also delicious. I had a delicious super omelet. Everyone go and eat.
