Stopped in on a lovely Friday night at the height of the summer season. No tables inside, but a spot outside would do fine. My order was taken in a reasonable amount of time, my beer arrived, and my plate of capuns (delicious) also appeared pretty much on cue.That, alas, was the last time I saw my waiter. I'd like to have had a dessert and some espresso, but fat chance of that. Apparently, these folks were caught off guard by the arrival of, you know, CUSTOMERS. They had two, count 'em, two waiters taking care of all the inside and outside tables, and, it would appear, preparing some of the food, as well. I actually had to go inside and make myself rather unpleasant, just to pay my check. I was sorely tempted simply to wander away down the street. No "dine and dash" required - it might have been hours before they realized I was gone.So, is this a good place for a meal? Well, yes, as long as you have a day or two to kill.
