Il Dolce - Reserva de mesa

Il Dolce is one of our favorite places for a casual but nice dinner out. The pizza is absolutely outstanding, and the staff is warm and friendly. GET THE PIZZA absolutely when its in season, the fig and prosciutto is one of the best. The bolognese is always a good choice, as well as the polpette. The red meat on the menu can vary, but last night my husband had the veal and it was excellent. All of the salads are fantastic fresh ingredients, creative combos. When its on the menu, the crudo is also always good. And off menu, you really should try the empanadas. Light flaky crust, and we prefer the chicken but the beef is also good.

Everything about the meal was spectacular, from the first cocktails to dessert and the final after-dinner drinks. The service from Mencho and the Owners Andres, Fernanda, and Roberto were exemplary; they made the evening a fantastic experience. Empanadas, Provoleta, Steak, Pastas, Desserts !.......Delicious!!! They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Il Dolce, it 's not just a Restaurant, it’s an Experience! Definitely ranks in the top three meals in all of Orange County we 've ever had. It is highly recommended.

did not want to be disappointed, we kept for 17:00 clock that was still early. we were the first of the diner customers. two of us have shared a salad, a pizza and chicken cacciatore. the house hand made italian san marzano dop pomodoro is exceptional. a simple tomato sauce/gravy with complex taste; not too sour, not too spicy, not too sweet, only exceptional. if they know a better pizza in orange county, they tell us. we enjoyed the meal very much. this is a family-run restaurant that is a piece of italia.

Maybe it was just an off night, but I’m not sure why this restaurant has such strong ratings. Our experience was mediocre at best. The service was lacking, the food was only average and everything was way overpriced. Definitely won’t be back since there are much better Italian restaurants in the area. Reserva una mesa ahora

the waiter completely ignored us. failed, ordered to bring wein. failed to bring boxes. pleasant enough to watch, but he was barely there. the place was empty, but there was no focus on us. I will not have got back

We had an exceptional experience. I’ll Dolce delivered an intimate setting with amazing, fresh tasting homemade food. THE best Italian in Orange County!
