6/30/23 7:30 pm So where to start. We walked in and everything seemed fine. The place looks clean and neat. We sat outside and ordered rice balls as an appetizer. Chicken Marsala and Linguine with Clam Sauce and a Salad that came with our Entrees. All of it was horrible. The clam sauce tasted like it was from the can and so did the Chicken Marsala. The Salad had dead leaves in it! We left it on the table and told our waitress we did not like the food. Service gets 1 star because the busboy who served our table was very polite and friendly. Just had our first experience at ll Fornellos, it was our Anniversary and we were excited to try somewhere different. We were very disappointed; we ordered the Clams Zuppa and Cannellini Brushetta for appetizers...they were just ok...my husband had the Chicken Francesse...it was tasteless and literally just pounded chicken dipped in heavy flour, nothing else on the plate-no garnish or sauce or anything to make you think you'll enjoy it. He took two bites and couldn't eat anymore. I had the house special, Fettucine Fornello-really nasty concoction of EGG NOODLES NOT Fettucine...totally over cooked and strips of chicken and maybe mushrooms cut up...in sauce was a strange pink tasteless, soupy...

Tengo envenenamiento de alimentos, llamé al restaurante para decirles a mi novio y tuve una gran cena, pero que me enfermé de las vieiras ... Recibí una llamada del gerente de este restaurante solo para que él me dijera que no lo hice. Tenga envenenamiento de alimentos, acabo de tener una mala reacción ... Tienes que estar bromeando. Yo como vieiras, camarones, langosta docenas de veces cada año, especialmente de Cape Cod, donde en realidad es fresco. I got food poisoning, called the restaraunt to tell them my boyfriend and I had a great dinner but that I got sick from the Scallops...Got a call back from the Manager of this restaurant only to have him tell me I didn't have food poisoning, I just had a bad reaction... you've got to be kidding me. I eat scallops, shrimp, lobster dozens of times every year especially being from Cape Cod where it's actually fresh. We came into eat around 7pm on Monday March 7th, and I woke up at 1am, 6 hours later, puking up everything. I called to tell them we had a great dinner, great service, but I had become very ill, and the manager or whoever he was, tells me it wasn't their fault, I just had a bad reac... I’m retired from the restaurant/hospitality business after 40 years. This place never ever lets me down! The owners mom is from Italy and the sweetest nicest person you will ever meet(she reminds me of my mamma) huge portions great drinks and price friendly a great value for an authentic Italian trattoria/osteria. Try it you will love it!!

Had a wonderful birthday surprise dinner celebration here. Apps consisted arancini, squash flowers, foccaccia bread , and house salad. Dinner was chicken saltimbocca which tasted delicious. Others enjoyed eggplant rolatini. Nice location for parties and cozy enough for first dates.

Haven't had the opportunity to experience this establishment. I plan to. I was fortunate enough to meet the owners at my favorite go-to spot in New Bedford, Black Whale. I was invited to their place of business. Can't wait to wine and dine. Great couple. Reserva una mesa ahora

This has been our go to restaurant since moving here 5 years ago. Never disappointed. Specials, menu items, it doesn’t matter… you can’t miss. I am always pleasantly pleased with the prices as well.
