Me and my girls decided to come here after work, on a Wednesday night for a last minute dinner we did not have time to get changed from our work clothes as we had a cinema to go after. On arrival, we were not greeted by anyone instead the bar staff just looked at us and looked away until the manager from down the restaurant came over. No hello, no how many for, just grabbed the menus and led us to our table. From the start, the attitude from the staff was not welcoming at all, very judgemental. On arrival staff very friendly. Restaurant looked nice, quite fancy. Things were looking up until we ordered. Both my wife and I ordered the zitoni con Ragu di salsicca. When it came we both said, is that it. Such a small portion, and what was on the plate, I could have cooked a better dish. Looked so basic, penne pasta, jar sauce and a sprinkle of grated cheese. We decided to order desert and my wife ordered a chocolate sundae, it says it comes with chocolate ice cream and chocolate shavings. Well when it came out no chocolate ice cream and it had hazelnut shavings which my wife is allergic too. Definitely not worth the money I paid. I met a friend for lunch at this restaurant. Prior to our visit, I had contacted them about my specific pre-operation diet, and they provided helpful advice through email. Upon arrival, our waiter Enzo was very welcoming and accommodating. The food we were served was excellent. However, my friend found her dish too salty, despite enjoying it on previous visits. Enzo promptly offered her alternative options from the menu, which were served quickly and to our satisfaction. Despite the quiet atmosphere at lunchtime, the quality of the food was outstanding. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant again.
The bruschetta was incredibly fresh with the perfect amount of oil. The minestrone was bursting with flavor. The truffle pasta cooked tableside was absolutely amazing and special. The flan was cooked perfectly. The service was efficient and the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. We will definitely return!

An unexpected chance find but we will be returning, laid back charming friendly staff affordable menu. Great family atmosphere. Staff were helpful and the ingredients for the food top quality. A real Italian experience can't rate this little gem too highly.
We had a wonderful family evening celebrating my daughter's birthday at this restaurant. Elio went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.
We were made to feel very welcome. Everyone was super efficient, friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and each dish had its own special little touch that elevated it. We really enjoyed our visit
This remains my favourite Italian in Liverpool and I would highly recommend a visit. Menu is smaller than I recall but that has enhanced the experience. Pasta was perfectly cooked.

Fabulous food, good atmosphere, great staff. Well worth the money. Short walk from both Ropewalks and Liverpool One. Is definitely the most authebtic italian ive found in the city
Food was lovely. Atmosphere and service were both great. Outside tables with fire on them were perfect for the occasion and nice and cosy to sit at. Would highly recommend
