Il Mondo - Reservar una mesa

This was my first visit at "il Mondo" in Aschersleben. We were a party of six and had booked a table beforehand. First of all: the restaurant itself is quite nice, but the service is suboptimal. We waited for more then an hour for our food. When we asked the waiter about the remaining waiting time the answer was a smug smile and something like "We are doing everything to satisfy our costumers... bla bla" (which was obviously not the fact).The food itself was good, but nothing which I would have connected with Italian cousine. PS: We wondered, why parties, which entered the restaurant after us, had been served before us. Obviously they had pre-ordered their food (knowing about the slow service).

Is one os the most frequented restaurants of Aschersleben, the cooking is good (obiously if you are italian you have to avoid Pizza...) but specially fish is really well done!!!What is not special is the speed of the service: slow, too slow even with few people inside you wait for tens of minutes.So, visit it just if you're not hurry....

I've eaten at this restaurant several times when in Aschersleben. It's the same every time. Very good food that takes forever to get......So if you have a big group that doesn't mind waiting, then go for it....

Food is not really Italian and it's not German: pizza is terrible! Pasta was over cooked! The wine was good!
