Ordered meatlovers $8.90) to compare to a BBQ chicken pizza that I had at 'My Mate 's ' further up the main road, so this review will be a side by side comparison. Meat was a solid 5/5, perfect. Very well cooked and flavours were spot on. Sauce 5/5, left me feeling very satisfied and blended perfectly in the pizza. Base crust perfect as well 5/5. I could not be happier with their pizza at this price range. <br/ I 've tried other pizza places in the west. Cannot stop raving about this place to friends so thought I 'd mention it on Zomato as well. Generous toppings, tasty sauces and a nice buttery crusty/soft warm freshly baked bread-y type of base, what more could you ask for?! Il pads is always our go to pizza hookup in St. Albans and they never disappoint. I will say though, at times their customer service is not at a fine dining restaurant level but please remember that at the end of the day, you're ordering a pizza (most likely) and all these hard working human beings are just doing their job. If you want above and beyond customer service to be part of the price you pay then go and find yourself somewhere that does some above and beyond fine dining. If you're after a delicious pizza that ticks all the boxes, give this place a go...

I have always considered this restaurant to be my favorite pizza place in the St Albans area. They offer a wide variety of pizzas, pastas, and other dishes at competitive prices. However, during my recent visits, I felt that the quality of the pizzas had declined slightly. This could be due to a change in ownership or staff. The pizzas still have a decent amount of toppings and are cooked well in the oven, but at times I found the sauce to be lacking in certain areas. The service was good and efficient. Parking is limited in front of the restaurant, so it is advisable to park on the side streets or in front of the local Woolworth. The seating area is small, but typical of most pizza places.

My partner and I have ordered from here twice via Menulog and have got to say both times it was really damn good. First time we ordered the burgers with a side of bacon covered wedges. Everything arrived hot, burgers were great with fresh ingredients and the wedges were still crisp which is a rarity from past experiences with other restaurants. The second time we ordered, we got the supreme pizza and the cabonara. The Pizza had an amazing base; not too thin not too thick, nice flavours and was cooked perfectly. The best pizzeria I know of in the west. The pizza bases take a lot of the credit being thick and light. Toppings are appropriate and tasty with the option to tailor to your own liking. Great value too, offering a competitive price with others in the area. It's hard to go past the pizzas on the menu which are numerous and include all the common varieties plus more. But if you are feeling like something different they do respectable burgers (including a tomato rich Yankee burger) and the most popular pasta dishes. Highly recommended! Impressive from such a humble establishment in a down-trodden area

This place never fails. I've been coming here for years (if I'm in the area) and it has never disappointed my pizza-palate. This is the best pizza place in the area. And it absolutely caters to vegos. The margarita pizza is a winner. But if you would like to try the vegetarian ones, toppings and all, I would highly recommend it.<br/ <br/ It's also great for dine-ins. Very relaxing atmosphere inside. You sit down, mind your own business, and enjoy.

Padrinos is a budget-friendly pizzeria perfect for anyone craving a hearty, generously topped pizza! The only downside is that the decor is a bit outdated and the staff can be unfriendly. However, the food is excellent, providing a satisfying pizza fix that will leave you feeling full.

Can honestly say the best pizza I've EVER had is from Il Padrino's. The crust/base is so ridiculously good, regardless of the toppings the pizza is always 10/10. Don't be fooled by the current 3.1 zomato rating, I guarantee if you try this pizza you'll never look back! Reserva una mesa ahora

The staff at this restaurant is nice and friendly. Although it can be a bit busy at times, they work hard to ensure orders are delivered promptly. The food is always fresh and served hot. The pasta bake is recommended as a good alternative to pizza.

I’ve been going here since I discovered it 13 years ago in my uni days and it’s probably been my go to pizza place in Melbourne since. Quality pizzas and service all the time and good prices!
