"Il Pastaficio was a great find when I arrived in Stamford from Italy. A place where there is a feeling of family and authenticity.The pasta is excellent, like all the sauces and desserts. I definitely recommend it!!"

How could anyone give Il Pastaficio anything less than 5 stars?! From the moment I stepped inside, I felt right at home. The place is clean, cozy, and incredibly inviting. Federico, the owner, is incredibly friendly, and we also had the pleasure of meeting Nicolò, the chef, and Roberta, the store manager. The food is truly delightful and authentically Italian. The dish of the day—pumpkin potato ravioli with ragù—was absolutely delicious! In fact, we enjoyed everything we tasted: the pesto fusilli, lasagna, salad, focaccia (outstanding), and the selection of cured meats and cheeses. How could anyone not love Il Pastaficio 5?! I felt like I was transported back to Italy when I visited this place. It's clean, cozy, and incredibly welcoming. Federico, the owner, is super friendly, and we also had the pleasure of meeting Nicolò, the chef, and Roberta, the branch manager. The food is outstanding—authentically Italian. We had a fabulous private dinner prepared by the team from Il Pastaficio, and we were thoroughly impressed. The quality of the ingredients they used was exceptional, creating truly remarkable dishes. The Branzino we enjoyed was the best we've ever had, and the ink linguine with Bottarga was simply outstanding! The quality of the meal rivaled that of a three-star Michelin restaurant. To top it off, they made a wonderful cake for the occasion—Crostata with Custard Cream and Raspberries. Thank you so much! We're definitely looking forward to having you back for our next event. As a delightful bonus, they also surprised us with some Sardinian amaretti as a special treat from Pastaficio House.

This restaurant offers wonderful and authentic Italian cuisine. We had the linguine and ravioli from the menu, both cooked to perfection and served in generous portions. For dessert, we enjoyed the tiramisu and the chocolate salami—both were delightful! It's a great spot for casual dining, takeout, or even for purchasing fresh pasta, sauces, and other imported products. Since our last visit, we've tried even more dishes. In addition to the regular menu, they feature a weekly special as part of the Giro di Italia, highlighting dishes from different regions each week. They also offer a daily special. Came here for dinner and the food was absolutely delicious.My only complaint would be we asked for tap water, and the waitress said they did not have tap water, but had Acqua Panna (still water), so we got that. After getting the Acqua Panna, we realized the other tables had glass jugs of water, which we assumed were tap. We were then charged for the Acqua Panna water, even after originally asking for tap! It was a bit disappointing to see it on the receipt.Other than that, the main course and dessert were fantastic. Pricey but quality of food is great.

Wonderful and authentic Italian. Great pasta we had the linguini and the ravioli from the menu and both were perfectly cooked and good portion. We also had a tiramisu and the chocolate salami Great place to eat in casually or takeaway dishes or buy your fresh pastas and sauce and other imported products. Update we have sampled further dishes as they not only have the regular menu however they have a weekly dish as part of the Giro Di Italia si each week from a different region. They also have a daily special.

I just ordered two pasta specials: one with beef ragu and the other with shrimp. The beef ragu had only a tiny piece of beef and a lot of onions. It was flavorful, but lacking in meat. As for the shrimp pasta, it had just one small piece of shrimp, which was quite disappointing! I called to express my concerns, but they didn't seem to care. Overall, I'm really let down!

The restaurant is clean, fresh, and well-lit, making it a lovely spot for exceptional pasta. The Rigatoni all'Amatriciana (the only misspelled item on the menu) was remarkable, with the pasta cooked perfectly al dente. The sauce was seasoned just right and packed with flavor. Delicious spinach ravioli, although the sauce is on the runny side for my taste. Place is immaculately clean and the staff is very friendly. Loses a star because....$22 for a small plate of ravioli. It ain't cheap. I'll probably come back but at these prices I won't be able to justify the cost often.Food: 4/5
