I have been to just about all of the restaurants in Los Angeles over the years.I have been to Napa, San Francisco, New York, Montreal and Italy......This was by far the worst food I have ever tasted. Then the price. Amazing.......I will pay for a moderate to great meal. This was garbage!!!!
Fantastic is what comes to mind for this wonderful restaurant. The food is outstanding and the service reminds me of the way restaurants use to be in the 1950's where restaurants use to take pride in service. You get what you pay for and the quality is obvious.
Food was a little over-priced for the size and quality. It was not bad; just not wow this was a really good. The menu is unique and has some creative thought. It could be argued that it might be a little too creative.

Always a delight to dine at Il Piccolino. The food is fresh, delicious and flavorful. Service is attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable.
Always a delight to dine at Il Pastaio where the food is fabulous and the atmosphere warm and welcoming with very attentive and friendly service.
Food is very good, the only down side to the restaurant is the attitude of the owner/host of Il Piccolino.
