It's hard to know where to go to for a decent cup of coffee in Rheinfelden, and Il Poeta is one of the few places I know. I discovered the cafe first by accident a few years ago, in the backstreets of the old town, and was very happy with the coffee they served. They have now moved to a more central location, and I met there with a friend for a chat and a cappuccino recently. Friendly but discrete Italian service - perfect. Comfortable, modern style. I am definitely going back to try the food next time.
I like this wonderful place, you can also sit outside to the street or back with view to the river, it is an Italian Koffe, you can also enjoy Italian Beer and delicios Italian sweet specialitys, the owner is a very friendliy and profetional person, he is nice guy.
Good Italian cafe in the heart of Rheinfelden with authentic home made Italian pastries. It is attached to the Rheinfelden library, which makes it perfect to mix business and pleasure. For a decent strong espresso I can highly recommend

Staff warm and helpful even though they don't speak English well. Portion huge! . Had the vongele and tiramisu. Nice presentation and tasty food.

Der Espresso ist einfach grossartig! Ich musste gleich noch einen 2ten trinken.
Die cannoli dass heute bei dir gekauft habe waren sehr sehr fein.
