Absolutely perfect little spot. I'm traveling for work alone and therefore eatting dinner alone. It's a bit awkward eating by yourself but the guys working made it so comfortable. I had the carpaccio to start and the genovee pasta and bot were delicious. The service was so friendly and he checked on me multiple times. I asked for my pasta in a to go box and he bagged it right up. I can see myself going again in the next 10 days even with so many other options out there, they were that nice. Thank you :
Both the pizza and the appetizers are incredibly delicious!!! You taste that the dough is made for the pizza itself and also the cover was very good. On the appetizers we had buffalo mozarella, which was really tender. Would want more vegetarian choice, because they were very tasty. But I liked the opportunity to complete his pizza myself and I used it directly. The service was very friendly and also requests for modification or additional selection of fees were welcome.
By far the best pizzeria in Mainz, as it is also really an original Neapolitan pizza that you don't find on site. A beautiful variation of different varieties on the map at absolutely fair prices! IL Pomodoro has the best pizza in Mainz! With crispy edge and thin floor and above all high quality, delicious mozzarella. The ambience and the employees are also very nice.
