Il Procino is a good Italian restaurant close to the university and is ideal for a cozy restaurant visit for students. The menu offers a wide selection of pizzas, pasta dishes and other Italian dishes. The pizzas are beautifully large and well covered. Thus the price-performance ratio is correct. The waiting times are reasonable, you don't have to wait too long for your ordered dish. The service can also be seen: you are always kindly hosted and are also open to the wishes of the guest. I have eaten in il porcino taking into consideration the recommendations on trip advisor. first I noticed that the terrace had tables and chairs made of plastic. Now that we were in augsburg the second time and had no idea where we should eat, we decided to go the first instinct and stay for dinner. we ordered that food came quite fast, but it was a disappointment? the pasta had no taste and was soaked in sawn, the bruschetti were rock hard and the brokkoli was too little cooked and just as the pasta looked full. I wouldn't recommend this place, even if many people were there. but usually eat simple meal or pizza. the personal does not speak English at all and the menu is Italian and German.
il porcino is an above average Italian restaurant - close to university. we eat there very often because the quality of eating is good, the prices are fair and the personal friendly. pizza is genuine Italian - thin and crispy - and of course you can see when the pizza is ready. the tables are covered with white linen and with serviettes (real serviettes - fabric, no paper). in the summer months is fed free. pizza from 5 €, pasta from 5,50 €. for beverages reasonable prices are calculated.
I have known the Il Porcino since my period of study in the 1990s and always, when I am in Augsburg, I like to go to dinner there. It is a beautiful Italian restaurant located on the edge of the university grounds. The ambience is very appealing, the atmosphere is relaxed, the service is fast and friendly, the food is excellent and at the same time extremely inexpensive. A perfect place to spend a cozy time with friends or family, a beautiful glass of wine and good food.

we had our Christmas party here in this beautiful Italian restaurant. I had the risotto and for 6,80 € I had not expected much, but it was absolutely delicious and good value for money. the ambiente and the facility were on the square. all my friends enjoyed theirs. no bad choice in the menu. Many thanks to all in the restaurant, would definitely recommend going.
When we arrived in augsburg on Sunday night, everything was closed in the opposite where we were, but a local showed us at this restaurant. we ordered two pizzas and a bottle of wine. the pizzas were very good and the prices were...reasonable to enjoy

I was in town today and stopped with my colleagues, and it didn't disappoint me. Let me begin by saying our server was amazing and super friendly the food was great and at a good price. If I'm in Augsburg, I'll be back.

It was perfect!!!! We were 10 adults two children. Service fast, friendly and professional. The food was quickly served with 2 waiter/ waitress. It tasted all very well by the bank. Great praise
