Il Posto - Reserva de mesa

Good evening at Il Posto! The food was great as always. I decided to try the veal piccata for the first time, and it was fantastic. The octopus appetizer seemed spicier than I remembered from previous visits. The shrimp bisque was excellent, and the Dover sole was wonderful, as usual. I hope that when they expand into the new room at Brian's, they can figure out a way to improve the entrance so that the dining room isn't so cold with the constant door opening. There were several large parties that night, and guests lingered long after finishing their meals at the big tables, causing a crowd to gather at the door. I know this must have been frustrating for the staff, who do an outstanding job...

I had another wonderful dining experience at Il Posto on a peaceful evening. The special broccoli and cheddar soup was outstanding—much lighter than other broccoli and cheddar soups I've tried. The Barramundi fish special served over linguini was exceptional, and the fettuccine Bolognese was very good as well. The cannoli were standard, nothing spectacular. Unlike many evenings, the restaurant wasn’t busy, so the noise level was quite manageable. However, the new space felt a bit too brightly lit.

This was the second year we celebrated New Year's Eve at IlPosto. The variety of items on the menu was great. We enjoyed each course. Our server was pleasant and very helpful in making our dinner selections. We are planning on making this a tradition!!

It was a pleasant surprise. When we first arrived, there was construction happening next door to Brian's building, which was quite loud. However, by the time we had enjoyed half of our meal, we were able to overlook it. Reserva una mesa ahora

We travel to Avalon several times a year and we always include a meal at Il Posto. Amazing food, great service and a wonderful atmosphere makes this our favorite restaurant on the 7 mile island.

Awesome dinner. We've been here before and they do not disappoint. They were busy on a Saturday evening but the service was still very good. In or around Avalon this is a don't miss spot.
