wir haben nicht das Restaurant in Bad Soden besucht, sondern das neu eröffnete Restaurant Frankfurter Hof in Sulzbach am Taunus. Ich war geschockt über die Preise. Ich war so geschockt, dass wir ohne zu essen fluchtartig das Restaurant verlassen haben. Ein Gläschen Wein ab 4,90 Euro, Apfelwein 0,2 Liter 3,90 Euro. Rumpsteak für 23,90 Euro. Für Sulzbacher Verhältnisse Wahnsinnspreise. Die Speisekarte ist minimalistisch. Das Restaurant selbst strahlt die Gemütlichkeit einer Klinikkantine aus. Es ist so hell, dass mir die Augen wehtaten. Ich hätte dort eine Sonnenbrille gebraucht.

During my visit to Bad Soden I had the oportunity to come across this "hard to find" place which is located in the backyard of an old farm house. Open ionly during the summer month you can sit outside in this nice yaed or inside an old barn.Food is traditional from the area. All ingridients are natural and well prepared. Here you get "slow food" of excellent quality. Selection is limited to certain local specialities.Service is excellent.Try their apple cidre from their own production or their salads.
apparently, eating was kept warm for hours and before serving they removed the plastic cover tableside. I did not ask if the geese came from Germany or polen (which here are the relevant sources) but came from chicago by wrigley’s company. had to chew so long to swallow any. tasteless. service uninterested with guests. very cold inside is the kitchen in another building and they keep the doors open all the time to carry food and teller.
Eine Straußwirtschaft für Älpler: eine echte Seltenheit. Der Immenhof liegt in Neuenhain und hat einen großen Hof, auf dem man auch bei etwas kühlerem Wetter gut sitzen kann. Dazu eine nette Gaststube. Die Speisekarte ist nicht sehr umfangreich, aber Alles was wir probiert haben, war ausgesprochen lecker. Guter Apfelwein /selbst gekeltert). Netter Service und angemessene Preise: sehr empfehlenswert.
