What a great Time we had at Date Night last night. The Steaks were too die for as well as the rest of our dinner. And the wine choices were just right and very delightful. Desert was just as wonderful... I had the Chocolate pie that was out of this world and my fiance had The buttermilk pie that she loved so much we took a whole one with us when we left. The Kitchen staff are on point and the wait staff are just the sweetest. most attentive and very customer oriented that we have experienced in a long time. The food was tasty, and the club sandwich was particularly delightful. However, during my second visit on a weekend, I was turned away at the door about an hour after they opened because they had run out of food. I planned to return, but I changed my mind after seeing an unprofessional post on the restaurant's Facebook page. The food is great when it's available, but they need to improve their professionalism.
Stopped for dinner at Tooties while passing thru town tonite. The great reviews I had read proved to be true. Fantastic chicken fried steak dinner, plenty for 2. Came with very nice dinner salad and my green beans were very tasty. Husband had the fried shrimp and fish dinner, also delicious and enough to feed 2 people. I highly recommend Tooties!
The food was incredible, the service outstanding, and the owner is truly wonderful. I'm so happy for her that she has finally found a team that is supportive and composed of such lovely people. Keep up the great work, you amazing folks! This is the best thing to happen in San Augustine in quite a while, and I know I'm not alone in my praise.

The food was good but Thay didn't bring us any silverware I ordered a fish platter got a fish basket wanted me to pay the full price for fish and fries when I was supposed to got coleslaw potato salad and that with it so the food's good but the service went that great. "Why aren't you paying your employees? It's unbelievable to withhold their wages right before Christmas! They've worked for two weeks without receiving any payment. This situation is unacceptable! I'm hoping for the best for you and for the employees who haven't been paid."
The steakfingers are to die for! When I asked the waitress about them, she said that nobody complains about them. After eating them, I told her that she needs to tell people they are the best! And I am extremely picky when it comes to CFS and steakfingers!
