"At an event this summer they had a tent with three beers on tap. I tried two and those concoctions were just horrible. One would that to promote themselves to the general beer-drinking public that they would not go weird and avante-garde. But they did. I now have no interest in spending money on anything else they offer."

IF YOU ARE NOT WHITE,,, do not go to this establishment! My husband and I who are very successful, but are HISPANIC were treated like second class citizens at this weekend Blues festival. The bartender first of all was nasty!! We were at the bar waiting patiently to be served a drink. This female bartender at one point looks at my husband and yells at us there is a line and points to the door. However, all the other bartenders were serving other ' people who are waiting just like us BUT are not Hispanic! Then the guy who my husband is next to (White guy) decided to talk **** that my husband was in his space and they had few choice words. The bartender then tells us we are not doing this and i tell her we have a tab open and we lost our seats at the bar and we are just waiting to be served. She continues to tell us get in line while the other people at bar gets served! Then they bring security and he tell us to leave. I said I will not and we have a tab open and we want our credit card. I asked to speak to manager which never came. Security then throws the bill on the table at my husband. He told security the bill needs to be handed to him instead. Security complied. I was so mortified and embarrassed this happened! Mind you my best friends are all WHITE at the same event but unfortunately were not with us. I bet if they were with us this review would have been 5 stars. This establishment deserves a zero!! I never thought I 'd say the words but if you are not the right color you are looked down at. SAD!

I visited Imperial Oak Brewing on 7/30/22 in the late afternoon. I visit craft breweries as a hobby. I picked the wrong day to visit as the community including this brewery was having Willowfest which meant a larger crowd, stages for performers and no close parking. I parked about a block away at a nearby restaurant and walked in. This also meant that I didn 't seek to hang out or ask for a flight as I would normally do per my routine. Instead, I stood at the middle of the bar and waited for one of the servers to break free to ask for my order. It was super crowded and most were in a long line on one end. I was able to order separately got a Buzz Lite golden ale in a plastic pint glass for $6. The server was kind enough to give me a free brewery sticker when asked as I also do per routine to mark my visit. The ale was good with some sweetness/honey on the palate. I would order it again if I were to return. I finished most of it while checking the Wi-Fi which worked well with password. I wish I had come a different day. I thought the location under the bridge and next to the train tracks was unique. The decor looked pleasant and the staff (while super busy) were friendly.

It 's like the 3rd time I 've been there where the service is rude. 3 strikes and your out! I asked for a sample of the new tropical IPA and my sample was warm. I said, it 's warm and the lady snarkly said all the kegs are on ice. But my sample was warm? She then proceeded to say what do you want? . I said for service to be a little nicer . Unfortunately my husband already got his beer. I got nothing this time. So I paid for 1 beer and we left. I don 't deserve bad treatment, I wasn 't rude by stating the beer seems warm. She should have checked it herself instead of a snarky remark. Please hire people that like beer and want to work. It wasn 't busy either. So on to Irish Legends where the staff are happy to serve you. Ugh! I now wish we left without paying for my husbands beer. He chugged it so we could leave. He didn 't even enjoy it. Shame on you imperial Oak! We are good people and don 't want to complain. You guys suck for ruining our Sunday evening.

This is a great place to spend lovely summer evenings! It's a great place to spend lovely, crisp autumn nights! It's a great place to spend mild spring PMs. Indoor seating is available in the winter. Food trucks provide snacks and treats on the weekends. Dogs are welcome on the grassy area. The crowd is relaxed, all ages, eclectic. Near bike trails, pizza place, and Italian restaurant. A nice place to have a brew and relax!
