This place has gone downhill fast. When we moved to North Babylon 10 years ago, we were looking for a great Chinese restaurant, and thought we found it. It started last year the prices were going up and the amount of food was a lot less. They put so much vegetables and hardly any protein, whether it be beef, chicken, or shrimp. The last time we ordered from them, they forgot to put the chineae noodles for the soup in the bag. My husband had asked for them, and they insisted that they were in there. My husband had to take everything out of the bag only to prove that they didn't put any in the bag. The boneless bbq spareribs use to overfill the container but not any more. There was hardly any...

I am writing to share my deep disappointment and concern regarding a recent dining experience at Imperial Orchid on July 12th. I ordered the Wonton soup along with a few other dishes, and to my shock, I found a live fly in the soup. Discovering an insect in food is not only surprising but also extremely distressing. This incident has raised serious questions about the standards and hygiene practices in your restaurant. Later that evening, I also experienced related issues with diarrhea. I have attached photographs of the incident for your reference. I sincerely hope that this was an isolated incident and not a sign of a broader problem within your kitchen or storage areas.

Got chicken and broccoli w fried rice for take out .. the rice was old n reheated and pasted together and was saturated w the juice for the chicken n broccoli which was so salty to make the rice look better very disappointed was going here for years but not any more !!! We ordered on a Monday, so I don’t know if some of our items were leftover reheated or refried, but we threw away most of it. The sweet sour chicken was good. But the rice was dried out and tasted odd. The scallion pancakes were SO oily, crunchy, and just inedible. I ordered the steak pad Thai and the meat was really rubbery. Couldn’t eat it. My husband and I took our kids here for the first time tonight, and I have to say everything was absolutely delicious! Every bite, even the last one of the pistachio ice cream, was fantastic. We’re so glad we decided to try this place. It has quickly become our favorite Chinese restaurant. We're already looking forward to our next visit and exploring new dishes!

I've never reviewed anything before but I felt the need this time. We ordered take out for a family of 5 and everything was unedible. The worst was that the Chicken was raw in both the Chicken w/ broccoli and Drunken noodle chicken. I will never return to Imperial Orchid as a customer
