The food remains excellent, but the service and atmosphere have declined from their previous standards. Upon my arrival, there was no one at the hostess stand to welcome me, and it took a while before anyone came to take my drink or food order, despite it being around 7 PM on a Saturday when the restaurant wasn't particularly busy. The waiting area had been repurposed into a space for preparing take-out orders, making it feel quite disorganized. In the past, that area would have been bustling with guests waiting for tables at that time on a Saturday. Thinking tonight, sushi would hit the spot. Read the reviews, came here, and was not disappointed! From the point, I walked in, to the point that I walked out after eating, I was extremely pleased! They were busy, but sat me after a very brief wait. I chose to sit at the sushi bar, I ordered, watched it be prepared with some very fresh fish, and was served. Excellent sushi! Very friendly service! Great prices! Clean! Everyone around was loving it. I’ll be back, and back, I’m back again. Thank you!

Sad to say they are terribly understaffed like most restaurants. Ordered a steak on a hot plate but plate and steak came out warm. Not coming back. It was on 5/11/2022 and I ordered the Inakaya Steak. Took one bite and sent it back. Waitress didn?treplace it or take it off the check. Only refunded me $5. What a joke. A great local place with amazing food. Sushi specials change and they offer types that you can't find other places. The food experience was 5/5 Everything extremely fresh and perfectly plated. I love traditional sushi and Inakaya went way above my expectations of a Top of the line Japanese restaurant. I am sure it is the best Sushi restaurant in South Carolina. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Never disappointing and the food and staff are always exceptional! My son?s birthday dinner here yesterday definitely left a smile on his face and stomach full!
