While I understand that Peruvian Independence Day is a busy day for Peruvian restaurants, my visit here was extremely disappointing. Although we had a reservation, as soon as we were seated we were told we had a 1 hour limit to eat. Once seated it took 10 minutes before our waitress came to see us. She didn’t tell us her name, didn’t offer us a drink menu, and didn’t tell us of any food specials for the holiday,…and though we saw her walking around she didn’t check back on us the rest of the time- almost as if she had completely forgotten us. My first visit so I did not know what to order. My friends meal was amazing, she let me try, so I will be back to order the same. Did not care for the tacos and I have had better Flan. The music outside was too loud. Combination of music, traffic noise and patrons with dogs, it was hard to think much less have a conversation. My friend and I were yelling at each other over the noise and so was the only other couple outside. We did ask management to turn down the music and they did, which made conversation much better not only for my friend and I, but other patrons who thanked me for asking to have the music turned down. Excellent experience in Inca Social. Food was very fresh, and tasty, and the service was outstanding. Cesar our server) was very friendly, checking periodically to ensure everything was fine. The drinks were very good, tasty and with a good alcohol level, and were not highly priced like many other venues. This is my 2nd time at Inca Social , and while the 1st time I was not particularly impressed, this time the experience was much better. My wife and daughter loved their dishes Aji de Gallina, and Inca Chicken),. and my Rice with Seafood was plenty delicious. Overall great experience, and will surely be visiting more often.
My husband discovered this Peruvian restaurant in the heart of Vienna/Falls Church on the corner of Gallows and Avenir Place. Great location, also, right next to the Dunn Loring Metro. It has ample seating area outside and their indoor dining area is cozy and fun. To the left there is a bar area with high tops and stools and glass walls overlooking the outdoor seating area. Pretty authentic Peruvian fare. Nice spacious contemporary setup. Very clean very friendly service. Food took a little bit to come out but everything was worth the wait. The drinks were awesome and the fact they put a llama on my pisco sour made my day. The ceviche was not only authentic and fresh but a great size portion. Parking is available on the street or the parking deck.
Great food and service. Probably the best peruvian food in the area. The chaufa was stir fried and you could taste that i was made it a wok. The pisco sours had a decent amount of Pisco. Overall a very good experience.
The selections of beers on tap was extensive and their cocktails were decent as well. The food is definitely not Mexican and the combination of spices with the meats and pastas were amazing.
Called ahead to see a soccer game they said they were going to show and ended up not showing it. We had 5 people coming from different areas of the dmv. Disappointed. Hit or miss.
