Be prepared to be disappointed if you’re expecting authentic Indo-Chinese cuisine at Inchin's Bamboo Garden. We tried several items from their menu, including Manchow soup, chicken chili, chicken 65 fried rice, and Chinese bhel. The Manchow soup, which should be a simple favorite, was a letdown with a thick, unpleasant consistency and a taste that’s hard to describe. The Chinese bhel wasn’t made with noodles as expected but with something else, resulting in a sweet and bland flavor. Even the fried rice was oddly sweet—why, I don’t know! Plus, who adds curry leaves, cumin seeds, and mustard seeds to Indo-Chinese fried rice? Overall, the menu didn’t deliver the authentic flavors we were hoping...

I recently dined at Inchin’s Bamboo Garden, a cozy restaurant tucked away in the heart of Bay area. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with dim lighting and comfortable seating. The menu offered a variety mix of Indian and Chinese comfort foods. The service was attentive and friendly, and the prices were worth it based on the food taste and the quality.Overall, I enjoyed my experience at the Inchin’s Bamboo Garden situated in the San Jose location and would recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, comfort-food restaurant in the California’s bay area. They also have a catering and big party dine-in services at a affordable costs.
The ambiance is decent and the staff are friendly. The presentation of the dishes is good. I ordered chicken momo (taste was okay), paneer butter masala (delicious), paneer chili (had a tough layer and lacked flavor, so it was disappointing), and Schezwan noodles (which came mixed with Schezwan rice, tasted strange, and lacked any real flavor—would not recommend). The naan wasn’t fresh, but the other items were acceptable. The drinks were refreshing. Overall, it seems like they could improve the taste more than focusing solely on presentation, especially considering the prices charged per item.
The deserts were very good. The service is very friendly and fast. The veg starters and entrees were good but tasted different to us unlike the usual indo Chinese we get at Indian restaurants. The veg biryani had a very strong flavor not sure what it was which I could not eat. The bhel was quite tangy and sweet. The ones we liked were the crispy potato and the gobi Manchurian. The mango lassi was good too. Their portion size is big! They have a big menu of the usual Indian items like daal, naan, curries etc which we may try next time. Reserva una mesa ahora
This indian asian fine dining restaurant gives you soy sauce in plastic packets. It is so weird that they are stingy with the soy sauce. The service is poor with what looks like one person taking orders in the entire restaurant. Most dishes taste about the same same dish 10 different names. But the weirdness with the soy sauce is just inexplicable. You ask for soy sauce the guy will give you two packets for your entire table. Weird. Weird. Weird.
10 on 10 taste. We crave for the true Indo Chinese flavour and Inchin chefs manage to pull it thru so well. The staff/manager was so accommodating that he managed to fit our large group on a busy evening and served meal quickly.Ambience is pleasant and rare to find while other restaurants can either give taste or just ambience.Overall they made our evening and I recommend them.Vegetarian options: Tons of vegetarian options, all of them yummy.
The food at Inchin's Bamboo Garden is quite good, with the pan-fried chili paneer standing out as the best dish. The soups and crispy baby corn were also excellent, and the drinks were enjoyable. However, the noodles were not very impressive. Unfortunately, the service leaves much to be desired, as the staff could be more courteous. Overall, it’s a good restaurant for the food, but the service needs improvement. Service: 0, Food: 4.
Not so crowded, lots of dine in space, a good mix of indo Chinese options. Mostly no coverage on phones (wifi provided by restaurant), Good taste Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection Reserva una mesa ahora
We ordered Lat Mai Paneer and Triple Schezwan veg noodles. Both the dishes were too oily and we didn’t feel too good after the meal. The restaurant was under staffed so there was lot of chaos.
Didn't even get as far as ordering because it was so cold inside. Everyone around us seemed to be wearing their winter jackets while eating.
