Well, The ambience is homely to begin with. The staff is courteous ,suggest the right things and very kind to small kids.Now a plate of mixed veg pakoras for starters since we are vegetarians.Pakoras were a bit salty though the chutney was nice.We ordered two thali which came with an assortment of curries , rice and roti. Since all the curries tasted same, I am not sure what to comment.The veg korma was particularly not good..the gravy should be made of ground kaju and coconut with spice blend thrown in but this one tasted like molten cheese..May be the cook needs more training in veg cuisine? The Mango dessert was good.
Um uns durchzuprobieren wollten wir ein indisches Büffet. So kamen wir auf das India House Stuttgart Vaihingen. Das Büffet kostet derzeit 14.90 Euro pro Person.Schon beim Eintreten wurden wir skeptisch. Das Ambiente hat etwas von einer Bahnhofskneipe, lediglich 1 Tisch war besetzt. Ein Büffet in dieser Preislage bedeutet für uns viele verschiedene Speisen. Weit gefehlt. Mit Nachtisch waren es ca. 6 oder 7 Behälter. Geschmacklich eher ein "Naja". Das einzig Positive war die freundliche Bedienung, ansonsen ist das "Büffet" in meinen Augen gerade mal 5 Euro wert.
We’ve been to India House several times, and we’ve always liked it. Today, we tried the Sunday buffet for the first time. It was fairly small and the food simply average. They didn’t even have naan on it. All in all, not my favorite Indian...buffet I’ve ever tried. At this point, I wouldn’t recommend you try the buffet. It’s doubtful that I’d go back.
The food at this restaurant is excellent. However, I encountered an unusual situation with the person in charge, who insisted that I provide a 5-star review. Once I agreed, she wouldn’t allow me to leave until I had posted the review, which I found rather unexpected. Nonetheless, the quality of the food was indeed outstanding.

We keep returning for after movies supper because the food is really nice and tasty and the restaurant is located near Corso Cinema. Service has always been lousy, the hosting attitude is just not there. Don't visit the restrooms unless you really have to.
The guys that work here are nice and patient with me and my two young boys. The atmosphere is nice enough for a quite date and for family and friends. I have never had the buffet but it looks good. Love the food here, seasoned amazingly and fresh.
Tried a couple of veg curries. I'm sure they weren't feshly made. Koftas were stale. Nan bread was not tandoor and was very very undercooked. Overall, a definite miss. One star because u can go there if u have nothing else to eat.
O restaurante serve no almoço, na opção de buffet livre. As comidas são de boa qualidade, ideais para quem aprecia comida indiana-asiática. Preço bom. Local agradável e bem atendido.

I was not expecting Germany to have such good Indian food. The meal was awesome and the service top notch. This will be a regular spot for me.
