I've eaten here recently and that was very nice. from the vegetarian options, 5 of the curries were in the position to be adapted to request to vegan, give us a good choice to options. there were also 2 vegan entrees available and the roti was also vegan. we had to ask what was available as a vegan as the menu was not clearly marked. the personal was friendly, but some of the staff were more aware of the vegan options than others. at the end we had: entree: papadums vegetable pakoras main: mixed herbal curry (med,) aloo gobhi (Med-Hot,) reis and roti.

we ordered two Veg-Curries and checked that they could be made without milk, but they came with butter in them. I don't think the server understood what milk meant. when we asked them if it was butter in the curries, they were very apologetic and replaced them. they expressly suggest what they do not want in the curry; no milk, cream, butter, ghee, etc. the roti was nice.

in albury for a few days, so I thought I would try this place and it was worth it. the personal was knowledgeable about which dishes are vegan or can be made vegan and also ensured that all sauces were also vegan. I had sweet pakoras and veg curry with rice, the two great portions and unusual for me it was too much to eat. in any case worth a visit.

Friendly and efficient service in a warm and inviting restaurant. Food was delicious, with options to BYO wine or order from a good wine list.

I love Indian chimney when I'm in albury. the meals are always super fresh, tasty and good price
