The chaats were disappointing. The papdi chaat was lacking nearly every spice, resulting in a bland and soggy dish. There was barely a hint of yogurt, and the sweet chutney was more sour than sweet, missing any spice or chili flavor. The Gobi Manchurian resembled a large cauliflower tree (it's important to break down the florets and crisp them up), and it was soggy as well! Surprisingly, the flavor was better than its appearance suggested. The samosa chaat was decent—while not exactly gourmet, it did have some identifiable flavors. However, it lacked the crispy edges typical of samosas and resembled more of a potato patty than a proper samosa, making it feel more like an aloo patty chaat ins...
The food here is excellent! I order from this restaurant frequently. I would give it 5 stars, but my last experience was a bit of a letdown. I placed a group order for our office with four different entrees, but the containers weren't labeled, making it hard to figure out who ordered what. Additionally, there were only two boxes for the four rice orders, which was inconvenient since we weren't eating together. While it's not a huge issue, I tried to call and speak to a manager about it, but the person who answered the phone (twice) couldn't provide any information on when the manager would be available or even a name to contact. I suggest that customers who order take-out ask for their food...
Excellent food!! I order here all the time. I would give 5 stars, but the last order I received as a group order in our office. We had 4 separate entrees and they did not mark the containers, so it was difficult to decipher whose was whose. They alsocombined the 4 rice orders into only 2 boxes, which made it difficult, as we we were not eating together. I am very disappointed with the food at this restaurant. I chose to eat here because of all the glowing reviews, but unfortunately, everything we ordered was subpar. The butter chicken was barely seasoned, and both the korma and rogan josh were so watered down that they were nearly indistinguishable. The lamb kebab was extremely tough, and we ended up giving it to our dog. Even the kheer was unsatisfactory—it didn't taste like it should and had a sour flavor. Perhaps the dishes are tailored to appeal to a non-Indian clientele, which might explain why the restaurant is still in business, but I would be surprised if any Indian diners truly enjoyed the food here.

My family and I have been ordering takeout from this restaurant for the past six years, and we've never had a disappointing meal! Please consider supporting this fantastic local Indian spot. Their food is halal, too! I highly recommend trying the butter chicken, chicken korma, and their delicious pakoras. Dietary restrictions: Halal.

The food arrived fresh and hot. The chaat chicken biryani that we ordered were delicious. The samosas were good and nicely spiced, and the naan bread was soft on top and fluffy in the middle. It was really good. I'd love to have dinner here againsoon!
This is one of the best Indian restaurants available here in Boston. You will love their vegetarian food. If you don't want to wait there for your order make sure to order online and just visit there for pick up.

Our Peanut Cheese Pakora is really good, but the food here is spectacular. I had Karahi Lamb for my main course and it was well-cooked. The lamb was so soft and delicious, yum! I'll be back soon!
The best Indian restaurant in the Allston/Brighton area! It's also quite affordable.
