I could never have imagined that I would get good Indian food in the centre of St. Gallen, so Indian was a pleasant surprise. The taste was quite authentic Indian, the owner and the person who served us were warm and friendly, and the overall experience pleasant. The only thing that would have been better was the ambience that was probably also because we were not sitting in the main area but in a sidewear of the restaurant. All in all, I can recommend this place positively for some good Indian cuisine.

We eat curry often in the UK and also cook it at home. In Switzerland curry restaurants tend to be below par on spice and above par on price. This centrally locates restaurant does not stint on the spices and the quality of the meat is good. Gravies are not the most sophisticated but flavoursome. Onion bhajis were good, as was the okra bhindi). We had lamb Rajasthani and chicken Peshawari, both can be recommended. Not cheap but no curry house in Switzerland is.

Fisrt time i went with my boyfriend who is Indian. Food was ok, though they lack the nice service. No bread is given, you have to buy it. Second time I went by myself for a promotion lunch for chf 12 for a vegi dish. The dish totally lacked the Indian flavours, almost no spices... dull. Bread and drink was separate... so i ended ip spending more than chf 20 in a so-so meal. Needs a little more enthusiasm, flexibility to please the customer and service.

As a family we went here as very other few places were open. I had read the reviews and was a little concerned but I have to say that it was enjoyable and tasty. The popadoms are really not great but the main courses I felt were really tasty. It is not as bad as some reviews may suggest.
