Place is quite near to chateau de chillon. We found good reviews on trip advisor n landed there for lunch. They wr closing at 2 pm but we requested them to wait till we reach. N we reached at 2.15. We received warm welcome frm the owner couple. Small place but has lots of Indian vegetarian options. They grow all their veggies in their farm n prepare all the food there. Different kind of Meal combos are available which comprises of curries with rice. Plz. Note rotis r charged separately but its worth having it. We had nice hot tandoori roti n garlic naan which were out of the world. They offered us biscuits n chocolates at the end. Overall very good experience.
We coincidentally found their food truck in a food market in Vevey with a long queue of customers waiting for their turn. Having been traveling to Europe for 2 weeks, we were craving for some good Indian food and this place fulfilled that craving!Absolutely amazing and tasty Indian food. A must visit for people away from India or to get introduced to Indian food.Curry (kadhi), Daal, Rajma etc maintain their authentic taste along with some yoghurt, chutneys and Pickle!
Although the welcome was friendly, the service was slow [the naan bread arrived after most of us had finished] and the meal in general as far as we and other members of our party were concerned was very mediocre. We had been given a price for the menu but were asked for more money - additionally coffee was also extra so we ended up paying CHF76.-- for a very mediocre meal which certainly left a sour taste. Not good value for the money unfortunately.
Tout récemment installé à Villeneuve, ce nouveau Take-away propose aussi quelques tables dans une petite salle à l'arrière. Nous y avons goûté les entrées très bonnes : pakora avec plusieurs sauces artisanales, les nans au fromage et à l'ail. Yummy miam-miam. Attention : horaires irréguliers, car les tenanciers sont souvent sur les marchés de la région, conseil : consultez l'agenda sur leur site internet.
