If you are looking for authentic Indian cuisine, do not order from Indian Sizzler Restaurant in Watford. Despite its name, the food here seems to be prepared the Bangladeshi way, which is quite different from traditional Indian cooking. My experience with their food was very disappointing. I ordered Butter Chicken and Lamb Chops via Deliveroo. The Butter Chicken was not what I expected at all; instead of the creamy, rich dish I was hoping for, I received large pieces of chicken hastily dumped in an orange coconut curry. I have been to saffron, shapla and the rest. but i can honestly say this is the best. I have visited on two occasions and never failed to dissapoint. Me and my partner go on Wednesday nights as its 5 courses for £9.95 (Make sure you book on these nights, tend to get very very busy). Food is very good, and best of its kind in the area. We ordered delivery from Indian Sizzler and I have no idea what other reviewers have seen in this place. The chili paneer was too sweet, the chicken was greasy, the raita had the texture of a yoghurt pudding and they sent us the wrong style of naan. There are many other legitimately good Indian places in and around Watford that I don't think we will be returning to this one.
