Indian Veg Bhelpoori House

this is the place to get relatiw cheap food (for london I think.) it is buffet so that they can eat as much as they want. almost all food is vegan and it is clearly marked. they can bring their own drinks, but they also have some. there is no table service and they pay at the end. the decor is quite interesting and funny. it is quite cramped so that those with mobility problems or use them a wheel chair can fight a part of the seat is down some stairs.

I loved being in a place that isn't just vegetarian/vegan to be trendy. The walls are covered with information about vegetarianism and the environment and beauty of vegetables. They also feed homeless people for free every day of the week. I think what they're doing is incredible and I'm really happy this place exists.

- good ethos -love the fact that they always offer a meal to the homeless -but eating was very subduing to say the least luke warm curries and dal, pulav reis was cold and had artificial green colors added to them, bhaji was big and heavy and cold

we tried the restaurant because it was an indie vegan joint and wanted to love it. it is quirky inside and let us with his vegan propaganda over the walls giggle. ultimately, eating was very average. my partner regards “average” generous. Reserva una mesa ahora

I've been coming here for almost 20 yrs, but living so far away the visits are few and far between. Reading the negative reviews below, I feared the worst, but it was as good as ever.

we were in the cold all day and hope we will be warm. we're freezing. eating is really good. the interieur is pretty bad, but this is well updated from previous review on 2019-12-14

I live up north but make a beeline to this place often when in London. The majority of the food on the buffet is vegan. It's very cheap and unassuming.

Fantastic, cheap and highly recommended. Bring your own booze too which is a nice touch!
