Prepare to wait for an extended period of time, as there is only one waitress/bartender/server who, despite doing a fantastic job, served us last even though we ordered first. We spent two hours at the restaurant, waiting 33 minutes for our appetizer, an additional 45 minutes for our soup, and another 10 minutes for our entree.My mother, sister, and I shared three items from the menu: Beef Sate, Bihun/Vermicelli Noodles, and coconut chicken soup. Let me start by saying this is one of the most unusual dining experiences I've ever had. Read into that what you will but here's what happened: the mango papaya salad arrived as a lot of shredded cabbage, a bit of carrot, some light green shreds (the papaya? , a touch of mint, a couple cherry tomatoes, and a thin dressing on the side no mango that I could detect. Upon pouring the dressing over the salad it had almost no flavor it reminded me of a coleslaw mix without dressing. The noodles we ordered as our main course had a similar lack of flavor. My absolute favorite restaurant. The curry noodles and potato fritters are to die for. I drive 30 minutes to get here and it's worth it every time! Don't listen to weirdos saying the food doesn't have flavor, it's some of the most flavorful, unique food you'll ever have. It takes a long time because there's ONE PERSON, the absolutely amazing chef, working in the kitchen by herself, every day , making everything from scratch. They post the wait times on the door, stop being ungrateful and go to McDonald's if you want quick food. Your palate obviously sucks anyway so you don't deserve delicious food!
Small hole in the wall Indonesian restaurant and bar. Delicious food, good service. We got the meal for two which comes with fruit/ vegetable salad, noodle soup (we had it with beef), appetizer plate (egg rolls, small skewered chicken strips, fritters with dipping sauces) and 3 different meats with broccoli and rice for the entree. Disgusting! The food had no flavor. Ordered curry that tasted like the curry cubes you buy in a supermarket. Wait service tried to convince me that I ordered the wrong thing and offered something that wasnt on the menu. Stay away from this place. The only thing indonesian about it was the bad water. ?
