We (family of four with a teen pre-teen are staying in Childswickham just outside Broadway for a weeks holiday so thought we’d try the Childswickham Inn Brasserie as we could walk there through the pretty village, it has great reviews and it’s dog friendly. We booked for a Friday evening and were given our choice of tables in the very pretty garden area. Everything about the place is wonderful. The pub itself is a lovely country style inn with a very warm welcoming atmosphere. When we visited a couple of weeks ago, we were given a lovely warm welcome, even though we just had drinks. This weekend we decided to go for Sunday lunch. Upon arrival, our booked table didn't have any chairs, so they had to get a couple of chairs for us. We ordered our meal and even though the food was good, my salad had a hair in it. I am not the type of person to complain, I just continued to eat. The roast was plentiful and the yorkshire pudding was huge, but even though there were roast potatoes, it would have been nice to have had some mash and extra gravy. Had lunch here today. Had the fish and chips which was the best one I have had in a pub or a fish and chip shop for years/ as long as I can remember. Homemade tartare sauce was amazing I really want the recipe. Beautiful fish and crispy batter. Another member of our party had the prawn cocktail. There was an abundance of prawns. Great value for money. Overall the food was exceptional. The staff were amazing, extremely friendly and truly made our visit special. We will be back very soon :
I booked a week before our visit however staff weren't made aware. We were taken to a table (with our dog) and seated quickly. Service was good and well paced. Squid starter was good, lamb and beef Sunday roast also good. Yorkshire pudding just right( from a Yorkshire native that's a huge compliment) and we would recommend and return

Another fantastic meal! We have visited the pub several times now when we are in the area,and each time have a really enjoyable evening. We visited on a particularly busy evening and they were down a member of staff, but we were still greeted with smiles,promptly tended to and had delicious food.
I went here to celebrate my sister's birthday. It's a nice place, nice staff and lovely food. I had a tartlet with a salad and my sister had a big bowl of pasta, both were delicious. Highly recommended, a very pleasant place with great food and service
Nice place, good menu although to be honest the menu reads very well but the food wasn't quite as good as described, having said there was nothing wrong with the food at all, just didn't reach my expectations.
Visited twice in our week in the area and it was perfect on both occasions. Catered for one of the party having food allergies and gave us space for a pushchair. Food and staff were excellent.
