I’ve been to many vegan restaurants around United States and most of the vegan restaurants in the Detroit area and Ann Arbor area, with that being said I had high hopes for this restaurant because of the high ratings. First let’s talk about the service. My first visit our waitress forgot about us when we got there because I don’t think she knew she had a table so we sat there for about 20 minutes with nothing u til we said who is out waitress then someone was sent over. Once we placed our order and received our food which took about 35 minutes to get which isn’t to bad but on the longer side, the food was bland, flavorless, and what you would imagine vegan food tasted like 50 years ago befor...
We love the Budapest mushroom soup, the cafe salad, the Broccoli/Mushroom phyllo sales and the excellent wheat crust pizza. No cheese required! Not even the vegan cheese. Just download it with sauce and vegetables and you are good to go. The crust is really from this world. Everything is so fresh, tasty and crisp and filled with so much taste. We love the ambience, it feels like a beautiful living room of a familiar relative.
We arrived at 2:59 PM. By the time the hostess arrived, it was 3, closing time. We were turned away by a very rude and unfriendly hostess who did nothing to try and help, giving us no options or alternatives, even after we explained that we had come from very far.
I seriously love this place!! I have had the pizza, smoothies, cake, ice cream, and veggie stir fry here, all amazing. I love the atmosphere. There is usually a wait for a table, but the experience and amazing all vegan selections are worth it.

I enjoyed my first trip to Inn Season Cafe. It was very enjoyable. My friend loved the enchiladas and I loved the Taos Cornbread. I also took home the carrot cake and that was very good! Thanks for a great first visit!
This place was very nice at home. Good moods. We were welcomed right away. The whole vibe was cold. Our server was amazing. Very friendly. When a southern girl visited, I felt like home.
Everything is vegan except optional milk cheese and sour cream! Menu is big, specials are very interesting, and the food is excellent. Small space, can be a long wait at busy times.
Cute decor. Very creative menu. The tea is great. I just love going here. I would probably go more but I hate driving through and parking in Royal Oak.
