Ipoh Garden Malaysian Cuisine

We went here on our way to airport. The restaurant is located at the corner of El Camino Real Linden Ave very close to Milbrae station. Parking is limited so we did street parking. We arrived at around 6:30 pm and were seated immediately. By thetime we left the restaurant around 7:30pm, more people came and there was a short line. We ordered roti canai, okra belacab,mango shrimp, coconut fried rice soy bean milk with grass jelly. Roti canai: good texture (crispy on the outside but stillchewy). The curry sauce was good and had a little kick. Okra belacan: okras had perfect crunch (not too soggy not raw) butthe belacan sauce was very little. Mango shrimp: DELICIOUS! Super crispy on the outside...

Came here on a Saturday at 2.30 pm. Ordered one Malaysian ice tea and one Salted and pepper crispy pumpkin. Both of the were good. The best dish was having coconut rice with a red curry. I cannot recall the name of the curry but it was served in a smallcup for $2. I ordered the curry 3 times since they did not offer a larger container. It was not very spicy but had a richtaste. Very good and unique food. They should reduce the ice in the ice tea. Friendly staff and great service. A very goodoverall experience.

Came here after the airport and the food was absolutely delicious, this is now my favorite restaurant in the area! The staff are very friendly as well. The Char kway teow and prawn mee were amazing and I also really enjoyed the eggplant balachan. I can?twait to come back again in the future.

Good comfort food in generous amount. Calamari fries are great. Also tried tom yum soup my rating 7/10) and seafood noodles my rating 7/10) as I am not soup lover. But fried foods and noodles and rice should get 10/10.

Food is tasty and portion is generous. The food is not spicy even for dishes that is supposed to be, which I guess fit the locals.
