There are not many places in Perth serving delicious Ipoh cuisine. I had the opportunity to visit this quaint town in Malaysia, and the food here is on point. While you may not get exactly the same flavors, that is to be expected. Some of our favorite dishes include char kuey teow, fried beehoon, inchi kabin, Ipoh dry hor fun, wat tan hor, and even the beansprouts with salted fish. Overall, this restaurant offers delicious food!
Simple, yet good and reasonably priced food. Favourite dishes- Beef Rendang Fried Mee Hoon, Ichikabin (fried chicken) and Dry Ipoh Hor Fun. Love the garlic tastes that comes through the Fried Mee Hoon. Char Kueh Teow tastes good, but can be better if the 'char ' taste is more prominent. For drinks, if you want something light and different, opt for their homemade herbal tea.
You have to try their famous Ipoh hor fun! I love the noodles and chicken. It's a simple dish but packed with amazing flavor. Every time I go there, I always order their chrysanthemum tea. Their fried chicken nibbles (which are actually quite large) are a great dish to share with a group. Surprisingly, their sticky date pudding is said to be one of the best in Perth.
It's quite a distance from my home, yet it feels so close to my heart. I absolutely love their chicken—it's just so delicious! Their fried hor fun is fantastic as well. We absolutely love this spot for delicious Malaysian hawker food. We visit almost every week and our go-to dishes are the flavorful Laksa and the amazing Beef Rendang Fried Meehoon. The service is quick and efficient with no-frills. We'll definitely keep coming back and also bring our friends along.
I've visited this restaurant several times and have always ordered their renowned Ipoh hor fun. However, this time I decided to try something different. Both the char kuey teow and mee mamak were delicious. It's definitely a top choice for satisfying my cravings for Malaysian food.
big fan of the food here in ipoh garden restaurant. been coming for years, dating back to the applecross days. no fuss/gimmicks here, just good food, good service. eating here reminds me of home, love the fried kway teow, the fried chicken and the ipoh hor fun. good eats.
I've only eaten here twice, so I haven't really gotten a great idea of this shop. But, the char kuay teow is very good and the sambal is also decent. The bean sprouts are worth a try, but Pappa Rich probably has the best bean sprouts with salty fish around here. Reserva una mesa ahora
This is a fantastic spot to experience Malaysian cuisine! It was my first visit with my relatives since I arrived in Perth, and I truly loved the Chicken Wat Tan Hor, which is a delicious dish of flat noodles in an egg and chicken gravy soup.
