It was one of the worse Japanese meals I've had. We ordered the sukiyaki hotpot and an assorted sashimi plate. The sukiyaki soup was good with lots of veggies and onions and it comes with some udon, but the beef slices looked terrible. The beef came still raw and frozen, which was totally fine, it's gonna be cooked in the hot pot anyway, but half the beef was dark brown! It looked to me like the beef had been frozen for years. Then the sashimi plate came, the fish was frozen and that's not ok. I had a hard time biting into the fish without feeling my sensitive teeth. I decided to wait until the rest of the plate thaws, then the maguro/red tuna turned out to be super slimy, fresh tuna shouldn...

they were quiet because there were only 3 tables during our stay. taste is excellent considering that they have such a low flow of patrons. we were worried at a point that we are serving frozen fish. fish are fresh and delicious. tataki bark was poor. they look like meat slices for shabu shabu. the ironic thing is that a Japanese kitchen that prepared video, showed the chef who made the tataki beef from the high-grade rib-eye steak. in your dreams. in your dreams.
