I just moved to Wembley so walked to the store instead of ordering over the phone based on other people’s reviews on here speaking negatively about his phone manner etc. I always like to check things out for myself before passing judgment. The owner greeted me and spoke well, very clear and politely. He suggested popular dishes based on me saying I like spicy food. He said everything is made fresh (and it was), so I walked down lake monger for 10 15 mins and came back and it was ready for me as he said, on time, and wow when I got home it tasted delicious... gyozas were perfect, Japanese beef curry was amazing ! I love this place. I get the teriyaki and avocado sushi and it is amazing every single time I go. I've been going to this place for years.I get this sushi as a treat because it is honestly that good. I've never had sushi that was made fresh right in front of you and is warm once you get it and eat it. It's spoilt me now for any other sushi place, I won't go anywhere else.I have to admit, I haven't eaten any other sushi meals but friends of mine have and they enjoyed the california roll.Also the hot meals are really good too.I don't see what the complaints are about. I definitely recommend!
I have been here twice now and bought sushi I honestly have no idea what all the complaints are about.<br/ <br/ The first time I ordered California roll and salmon roll sushi. The second time I ordered salmon sashimi. Both times it was made in front of me and it tasted fresh and delicious. The sushi serving sizes are very big (picture is one small serving), while the sashimi was average size (also small serving).<br/ <br/ Iron Chef is quick, delicious, healthy, and very convenient for my lunch break. I will continue to come here and work my way through the entire menu
Seriously, the best sushi you will find in Perth. One of our favourite local Friday take aways that we 've been visiting for years.Yes, the 'restaurant ' looks a little odd, tucked away with a closed door, but don 't let that fool you! The sushi is incredibly delicious. The chef will not 'pre make ' anything his motto is that everything is made fresh to order. So you can eat your sushi still warm! I ALWAYS get my sushi from here. It's always made fresh and tastes DELICIOUS. I recommend the salmon caviar sushi! The portion size is great. I order a 5 piece for my lunch : To the people complaining that the gentleman is rude...He works alone and takes orders, cooks and takes payment alone. Keep that in mind and try to have your order ready when you phone.
I went at opening time (10am). Make selection, pay cash, return in specified time (Eg 15min) for delicious fresh, made to order sushi. efficient owner/chef. not waste time with small talk. Very rude chef/owner. He yelled at me over the phone on a Saturday afternoon around 5.00pm because I didn’t order early enough for dinner! He doesn’t take our orders anymore because he is “too busy”.
