A wonderful country town pub full of character and friendly staff. There is a good choice of drinks here, plus a fab menu that is either traditional Australian cuisine or Thai (phone ahead to see what's being served). My visit yielded an awesome Thai dining experience that was authentic and produced food full of robust flavours, great textures and pleasing colours; and definitely on par with other Thai restaurants I've dined at. This wasn't an interpretation, the meal I had was a very tasty iteration of Thai food. Portion sizes were on the generous side and table service was quick. The food was well priced too. We arrived on a Wednesday evening and were delighted to enjoy the Thai menu. My partner knew the pub offered Thai on certain nights. The meals were authentic and cooked perfectly. We had the beef with Thai basil and vegetables and a veggie jungle curry. Delicious! The publican was fantastic and has a great cellar of Rutherglen vino. He also provided some excellent insights into some of the speciality wines the local wineries have. We’ll come back love Chiltern. We visited the pub the next day too and they have a lovely beer garden section.

Absolute knock out. Walk in and fall in love. The ambiance The owner. The nicest place in Chiltern. I love this place. First time visitor and there is nothing not to love. Food is brilliant and it's really cheap. Drinks are the cheapest of any pub. The setting is perfect. I never want to leave and really want to come back again and again. With live music as the Guru Molly says. DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR. 10 stars out of 5. It's that good

Had lunch here with the wifey, lovely little tavern with very friendly service, not to rowdy and good prices too. Not a huge lunch menu but what we had was really amazing, Although there were no entree options listed on the menu they were happy to do a garlic bread for us. Unfortunately, the advertised roasted sandwiches were not available, as no brot and the bowl vegetables on the menu were also not available, as they did not enjoy. do not go back

Fantastic services from the staff, smiles all around, great atmosphere and a well priced delicious menu. Can’t recommend this pub for a look in highly enough.
