A hidden gem. The best in the west. We’ve been dinning here for a long time and for good reason. If you’re after delicious tasting and authentic Thai food made fresh to your order you will not find anything comparable to Isaan Village restaurant. As a seasoned foodie and SE Asia traveller I can vouch for this restaurant. A down to earth place and it comes as it is, and I like it.  Wife and I out after a work week on a Friday evening.  Masaman Curry for me and Chicken Larb Salad for the wife.  The menu has photos of ordinary life in a bit of Thailand which makes for interest.  Masaman Curry was a good size and tasty.  Larb was similarly tasty, though at the top of our heat range.  Complementary water was quite sufficient and a relaxed atmosphere.  Slight wait but quite okay.

Consistently high quality authentic food. Menu is simple with an decent range of dishes including specialty items unique to this restaurant, ie, prepared inhouse and impressive variety of options available for each item including vegetarian (and vegan). All dishes are prepared to order in a clean open kitchen with fresh ingredients. Quite apparent that they do not compromise on quality to reduce wait times so expect very good food and not fast food.

Went to Isaan Village Thai Restaurant on the spur of a moment...did not disappoint! Lovely, cosy atmosphere. Food was sensational and the service was of the highest quality.!! Even had the chef who is the owner come to us and talk...which was awesome. Will most certainly be back again and highly would recommend. Just yum!! Have been here on few occasions now.. There is only one lady cooking the food on weekdays as well as serving. Takes a bit of time for food to come out but the flavours are very good and very authentic so definitely worth the wait . The Tom kha soup is delicious and authentic. The chicken larb with salad is also delicious as well as the panang curry. . Will definitely keep coming back :

I found a new favourite Asian/Thai restaurant in all of Adelaide...Isaan Village Thai. Great food we had the Pork Larb and the Red Chicken Curry both very aromatic and just the right amount of spice. Wine list is limited but fine given not a natural accompaniment for Thai/Laos food. A bit of a wait for the food, but not excessive...in fact just right to appreciate the fine art of conversation. Definitely one to make a regular.

Issan Village has constantly provided excellent authentic Thai food. I could not reccommend this restaurant enough. It really does deserve far more recognition for the delicious food they continue to provide. I highly recommend all of the curries, and the satay chicken would have to be the best iv had. Fabulous food. This restaurant is worth eating at. Slow delivery of meals because only one woman is working both cooking and serving. There are two men bludging off her. Appalling Not the food which is wonderful. The appalling part is the way she is treated.

Great authentic Thai. Bok choy came from the back garden , was impressed . Had 2 spicy dishes, very nice . Will come back again . Tasted just like Isaan Thailand style .
