We visited family in Germany on 1st December and they had arranged a family meal at this restaurant. My husband speaks some German and I point and smile a lot and people are very forgiving of my poor language skills. The restaurant had put on a special menu and gave us a room for the 36 or so members of our clan. I am on a gluten free diet and the staff were very happy to ensure that I got a suitable meal, a very nicely cooked steak. The room was very pleasant and we were not hurried. Accommodation and location are top for mountaineers or hikers..... Breakfast is good and meets all standards..... The lunch card is even better and is varied, tastefully very good and fresh.... Owner is good at having fun for everyone.... Drinks are also super particularly recommended is the schnapps of the prince with marille....

Everything very clean and tidy. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous and, of course, has responded and motivated to questions. And the food was very delicious!
