Easily the Best Burger Place in Town. I am a very big Foodie/Food fanatic, I love trying food from different places, I had been hunting for the perfect burger in Dallas and I can say I might have just found it. BI is an awesome place with succulent and tasty burgers. I have tried the Island Burger, the Jungle Burger and the Philly Cheese Steak they were excellent. Some may argue they are not authentic but if they can be soo tasty I will not complain. Fantastic Old-Fashioned Burgers. Tiny little place, clean but not fancy, and the food is really top notch. And very inexpensive, for less than $10 you can get your choice of burger or sandwich, fries and a soft drink and leave a buck tip. Chili cheeseburger is to die for, there's so much homemade chili on it that you have to eat it with a knife and fork. And the fries are not frozen, they're the real thing. If you're looking for atmosphere, go somewhere else, but if you want a great burger, Burger Island in Richardson (or in Plano) is your place to go.

Good Value for the Money. I really stewed on this review. In the end, the huge burger and great meat flavor coupled with the full meal price under $10 caused me to give it a thumbs up. I did enjoy the huge burger with quality meat flavor. I did not like the over-salted fries, decor, or service. No one talks, says hello or tries to help you. The decor is half cool tropical and half hole-in-the-wall. It doesn't work. Come here because of the value and great burger flavor.

Burger island in Richardson. This is NOT some fancy pants, upscale, snooty, new age burger place! This is a hardcore, Saturday Night Live/John Belushi kind of burger joint with plastic tablecloths and excellent burgers! Extremely nice staff, fresh made and reasonably priced food. Huge burgers! Even though I don’t eat beef, I really love this place! They have chicken and turkey options with a wide range of toppings. The burgers are enormous and full of flavor. We usually get our food to go. The fries are good but not outstanding (we typically like to make our own at home), and the salads are quite large and offer great value for the price.

This restaurant is amazing! It stands out from the rest and is definitely worth a visit. Although it might seem like a small, unassuming spot, you'll absolutely enjoy it. I had the jalapeño burger, while my friends chose various dishes, all of which received high praise!

You guys have to try the JUNGLE. The jalapeño makes the great combination with huge and fresh patty. Clam strip is excellent. Price is awesome too.
