The pics don?t do this justice. The food is absolutely amazing, and was the best Caribbean that either my husband or I have tried. The curry goat was so savory and the brown gravy chicken was sweet and tangy and I couldn?t stop eating it. Oh, and the seafood soup? WHOA. If we had time, we would have stopped on our way back by, heading home, just to pick up more. I?m already planning on driving over so I can have some next weekend, too. But even more than the food was the people. We had customers and staff alike coming over to chat about how we liked the food, and what it was like growing up on the islands. Ok this place is THE definition of ?slap yo pappy? good! Came in on a Friday evening on a whim and whew, this is some of the BEST Jamaican I have had in a long time. Extremely flavorful selections. My mother was with me and she wanted to sample some of the stews and sauces to which the manager happily obliged. And her taste buds danced the happy dance! Eventually we settled on jerk chicken with brown stew sauce, red beans rice, collared greens, and Mac cheese for myself and curry chicken with yellow rice and cabbage for my mother. So happy they have VEGAN options! Staff are very kind and knowledgeable ? vegan sides are collards, plantains, and cabbage. All rices are also vegan (rice beans is delicious! . The curry chickpeas is my favourite. The jerk tofu tastes amazing, but it?s far too spicy for me? I enjoy spice, but it sets my mouth on fire. I wanted to love this, but my experience was truly lackluster. The goat curry was mostly bones, tendons and fat. I think I might have had 4 good bites of meat for $18!! It was tasty however and the roti was on point. I will try again due to all of the rave reviews.

I already ate 1/2, sorry. It was delicious. The collars were as good as any I?ve had. Jerk chicken was great. Low key place with good food and service.
