I wanted to like this place so much reading the reviews. The prices are appropriate for what I ordered but the taste wasn’t there. The rice was mushy and not the right texture. The stew chicken was filled with peppers no other vegetables like carrot or potatoes just strips of red pepper. The browning sauce was underwhelming with no flavor. Bland and boring. The stewed beef was tough. The cabbage was salty and mush no texture did not enjoy. The plantains and Patty were good but if this is how the food is prepared daily it’s not the restaurant for me. And also don’t bag three large meals in one plastic bag no attention to detail for the guests.

I have been to this restaurant 3 times and I haven't been disappointed once! Food is so good and fresh! My favorite is the oxtails and cabbage. On the left in the picture is the oxtails, yellow rice and collards. To the right is the stewed brownchicken and cabbage. We gave everything ????????????????. If you like ginger please try the ginger lemonade. It's extra sweet tome, so I add water to it once I'm home but it is so good!!!

How did I not know this was here. Such a laid back, great place to hang out. Lots of tables, yet roomy, and a very relaxing corner with couches and chairs to chill. I ate the chicken and shrimp, with brown rice and beans, with their special spicy sauceand a beer. So delicious, and some groovy island music in the back ground. Definitely earned a returning customer ????

I wanted to really enjoy this restaurant, but my experience fell short. The goat curry primarily consisted of bones, tendons, and fat. Honestly, I think I only managed to get about four decent bites of meat for $18! That said, the flavor was good, and the roti was excellent. Food is fantastic! Would give them 5 stars if I could. The staff is very friendly. Huge portions and reasonable prices. Chickpea Curry is prepared when ordered so make sure you allow for extra time. I think we waiting about 20 minutes for the food, and it was totally worth it!

I've been here a handful of times and the food is always excellent! I either get the curried goat or the oxtails, and the oxtails are probably my favorite! The meat is so tender it just melts in your mouth. The portions are always large and theoxtail is always meaty.

I wanted to love this, but my experience was truly lackluster. The goat curry was mostly bones, tendons and fat. I think I might have had 4 good bites of meat for $18!! It was tasty however and the roti was on point. I will try again due to all of the ravereviews.

The food is top tier. The collards and cabbage are great sides, but the ox tails are phenomenal. Portion size is excellent.The staff are very nice and personable.The restaurant has a really laid back and comfy vibe.Loved it and would go back again!!! Reserva una mesa ahora

I already ate half of my meal, sorry! It was delicious. The collard greens were among the best I've ever had, and the jerk chicken was fantastic. It’s a laid-back spot with great food and service.

Decline in taste. Collards cooked in salt can't get thru to talk someone.
