I recently ordered takeout for lunch, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience! The food was exceptional, earning a perfect five-star rating. Every bite was delicious, showcasing freshness and great flavor.

The food was incredible! A couple of months ago, I stopped by Island J Shack for lunch while I was in Tampa for work, and I was so impressed that I decided to contact them for catering for a recent party I hosted. They definitely exceeded my expectations! Everything was freshly prepared and full of vibrant island flavors. My guests couldn't stop raving about the food for an entire week!
For lunch, the price per person is around $20–30, and I couldn't be more pleased. The food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a perfect rating of 5.
Some dishes I highly recommend are the Oxtail Dinner, Curry Goat, Steamed Fish, Escovitch Fish, and Rice and Peas.
Outstanding service and delectable food! The oxtails were tender and packed with flavor, while the J chicken was cooked flawlessly and expertly seasoned. I would give it a perfect 10/10 and will absolutely recommend it and come back again in the future!

I’m in town for work and discovered this fantastic restaurant. The chicken curry is outstanding! I ordered the medium size, which is enough for two meals. I can only imagine how large the large portion must be. Thank you!
