Found this little gem during lock down it became our regular takeaway on weekends since 2020. Found out recently they have had a refurb and now can eat in!! We couldn’t wait to visit as takeaways have always been bang on from island lounge . To our expectation the dine in experience was so much better if it’s even possible!!!!!! I came here for my friend's birthday its a nice cosy setting but a little bit of a squeeze when there's a group of you and having toilets right by your table isn't really inviting. My friend said she pre ordered my food but it didn't arrive until about 40 minutes later my friend who came before me didn't get her food for a good hour. It didn't seem very organised at all. I had my food of mutton off the bone it tasted ok not really full of flavour but the meat was nice. I have become a loyal customer at this restaurant because I am always impressed by the deliciousness of everything I order! I would suggest making a reservation ahead of time if you plan to visit during a busy time or when they have a special promotion (like Wing Wednesday!). With so many tempting options on the menu, it's difficult to pick just one favorite, which is why I keep returning. I highly recommend this place, and be sure to leave your car at home because the cocktails are irresistible! Service: Dine in.
I came to this restaurant for the first time tonight to celebrate my birthday. I absolutely enjoyed our visit. The service was excellent, with polite and helpful staff. The music and atmosphere were perfect, making us feel very cozy even though it was cold outside. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The jerk chicken and stew were especially good. Me and my Husband visited tonight for the first but not the last time. We travelled from Cannock and it was everything we hoped for. Both the drinks and the food were outstanding. Authentic hidden gem , I have been back twice and even recommended to friends. Real flavours and spice not diluted. I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and served generously. The service was exceptional and the atmosphere was welcoming. I highly recommend this place for a dinner outing. The price per person is between £10-£20. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect 5 out of 5.
