This place rocks. I wanted something else. You're new to the neighborhood and I can smell the kindness sometimes in my backyard. All 5 reviews were on point, but what we received was beyond our expectations to far!! It was so clean, friendly staff that the cook came to our table to say hi and welcome us), the food... oh my. The portions were huge, everything was fresh, hot and perfectly cooked and seasoned. And then the key cake came. My husband had 1/2 jerk chicken, black beans rice and topped green! I have eaten here several times in the last few months and the food here has always been good. My favorite is tropical chicken, Mac cheese and roasted corn. My daughter's favorites are tropical chicken and plantains. The restaurant is always immaculately clean and the staff is very polite and knowledgeable on the menu. If you think about coming here, don't hesitate. You will not be disappointed!
Really good food Virgin Island style. Portions are huge. René had the Jerk Chicken with rice and beans and riped plantains, and I had Tropical Grilled chicken with yuca fries and mac and cheese. Both delicious. The chef Verne (sorry if that is not how he writes it) came out and introduced himself and asked how was the food. Nice gesture.
