Isola La Cantine Litteraire

I’m writing in English, because I am addressing non-Italians who are interested in actual Italian drinking and food: that’s your place. Easy, tranquil, friendly and good quality always on the foreground. You can enjoy a nice aperitif (I had a proper, real spritz, just the way it’s supposed to be done) and three “cicchetti” (appetizers) for a fair price. A comeback is certainly needed. As Italian I can say that’s the proper place when you need to feel like home.

Met friends there for a light dinner. Actually they had dinner while I focused on a merry bottle of red. The place is tiny and cramped the Parisian way, but what it lacks in space, it surely makes up for in warmth and friendliness. Our waitress Giulia was the embodiment and patience and good nature, service was sharp and my friends visibly enjoyed their meal.

A warm, welcoming, very beautiful place with excellent quality products: meats, cheeses, lasagna and other tiramisus will delight taste buds; as well as the very wide choice of Italian wines! Guido is adorable and passionate about his products that he offers with pleasure. I highly recommend!!

Isola Cantina renamed Isola Cantina felice because we find all happiness, good wine, good Italian dishes and a great atmosphere! I love it.

We had late dinner in Isola it is a local cosy and very Nice restaurant with great wine and food. We will definitely recommend a visit !!

Guido is a host worthy of this name! Very pleasant atmosphere for a glass in two glasses with delicious Italian bites.
