The food at Istanbul Borek Kebab was excellent, but we were shocked by the $200 bill for two adults and two small children. It was partly our fault for choosing a dish based on the picture without asking if it was meant for two people, as the portions were quite large. We ordered two of those dishes. The kids shared a $20 meal and a can of sparkling water. We also had Turkish coffee, tea, and a bread side plate with five different flavors. While we really enjoyed the food, the almost $200 bill was hard to stomach. The waitress could have warned us about the size of the dish, and if she had, we might have returned to try more of the menu. Despite everything, I still left a tip.
Don’t come here! Place was completely empty. Food was old and the lamb chops tasted rotten and the rice was cold. Nothing was fresh. My mom got food poisoning and the waitress was rude. The atmosphere was incredible, and the service was exceptionally friendly. The menu featured fresh and delicious dishes. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends. The prices were fair, and the portions were generous. Great job!

The food was fantastic, and the waitstaff served us very quickly. The salt and other seasonings were excellent. We really appreciated the prompt service. However, I did find a grain of salt in my water.
Whenever I travel through New Jersey, I make it a point to stop by this restaurant. The food is delicious, the staff is professional, and the prices are reasonable. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Very good restaurant.. big variety of Halal food.. also many sweets items.. offer eat-in, take out delivery.. prices are medium to high..
