Istanbul Café And Bakery

I decided to check out this restaurant after reading all the rave reviews, and I'm pleased to say that it lived up to the hype. I didn’t give it a full five stars because the kunfeh they offered was frozen rather than fresh. On the bright side, the baklava was absolutely delicious. Given that it’s a full bakery, I expected everything to be fresh, which made the frozen kunfeh a bit disappointing. Nevertheless, my overall experience was delightful. The staff member who attended to us was very accommodating and took the time to explain the various menu items. I plan on returning, although I think I’ll skip the kunfeh during my next visit.

We had a wonderful time at this delightful cafe. They’ve created a cozy ambiance reminiscent of Cheers, where every guest feels warmly welcomed upon entering. The staff was enthusiastic about encouraging customers to try their pastries, even inviting a curious table to sample a bit of everything from the counter after they finished their brunch. However, we did have a minor issue with our order; we requested a vegetarian dish with the meat served on the side, but instead, the meat was placed next to the eggs on the same plate. It’s a good idea to be clear in your communication to prevent any misunderstandings.

We have been in America for a year and traveling. It was definitely the best Turkish place we went to. We ate sucuk toast, kıymalı borek , simit and baklava. Their tea was also fresh. Everything is beautiful, from the folk songs playing to the pictures of Istanbul! Also, the gentleman at the cash register is very polite, smiling and interested. The lady was already extremely positive and I love her energy The main reason I love places is because of great employees like you. Thank you Istanbul Cafe ?

First time visiting this morning and it was great. I was greeted warmly. Since I was a newbie, the owner regaled me with various samples. I had the pistachio baklava, ground beef borek and Turkish tea. All were phenomenal. The ambiance is familial and the establishment is spotless. I am thrilled to share my experience at Istanbul. The borek was fresh and absolutely amazing. The coffee was rich and robust—I had it black. I highly recommend this quaint café; let’s support our local businesses! I even took some baklava home as a special treat. Overall, I rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 stars!

First the customer service was outstanding. The breakfast also was great. This is my first introduction to a Turkish breakfast and it was an amazing experience. I was looking for a healthy alternative to the American breakfast.Food: 5/5

The Turkish food was delightful! I especially enjoyed the Manti, which are small dumplings that were absolutely delicious. Everything was a treat. The Turkish tea was also lovely. Overall, I give the food a 5 out of 5!

The staff is amazingly hospitable and fun. The food is fantastic. Don’t miss the Turkish coffee. I’ll come back every time I’m in the area.
