We recently held our wedding rehearsal dinner at the Italian Affair Restaurant and it was wonderful. We had booked their private side room, which comfortably accommodated our group of 36. The restaurant is very authentic and the food was amazing. For dessert, we enjoyed homemade ice cream and tiramisu. Laura, our host, provided excellent service and she and her staff went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was exceptional. We are grateful to Italian Affair for their hospitality. I hosted a party at this restaurant. They changed the room on us without warning on the day of the event. They tried to fit 40 people in a small, crowded, and hot room. The server seemed unhappy and was muttering comments and curse words under her breath while slamming trays. When we asked for another drink, she said she had another table to attend to. To add to the frustration, drinks were spilled all over our party belongings during cleanup. I spoke to Laura, who was very apologetic, and I appreciated her response.

Great place to eat. Bread and oil. Soup. Calamari and stuffed mushrooms. Sangria. Ordered two of the house specials and everything was perfect and delicious and Pat our water was great. Vegetarian options: Health specials. Very good. The service was great and we sat outside in a beautiful evening. The appetizers were great: both a special. Zucchini flowers and fried green tomatoes with burrata, both very recommended. Then we got the pumpkin ravioli, really great, two pizzas and gnocchi. The only remarks were that the gnocchi were probably not handmade, but still fine. The pizza were good but the dough a bit hard. Nothing major, but not so easy to eat a whole one.

Picked up food was not good at all, really. All I got was chicken Alfredo with broccoli. It was so simple so easy to make, and it just wasn't that good. Alfredo had no flavor, all cream, barely any taste of cheese. I haven't eaten food here in a long time. I see why now.

The food, service, and atmosphere at this restaurant were excellent. The owner clearly takes a lot of pride in the business, and it truly feels like a taste of Italy. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5.
