Italian Affair Pizza And Pasta

Undercooked chicken, like pink in color clearly undercooked. Fine, mistakes happen, so we give them a call. The lady who answered put the chef on the phone (maybe also the manager? and the chef proceeded to tell us that he cooked them personally and that there is no way there is anything wrong with them. Well, we still have pink chicken so rather than just refund us, the chef requested we drive back to return the two chicken dishes. The lady in the front silently inspected the chicken and then took off the two chicken dishes from the original tab without a word. There was no apology for giving us the chicken undercooked, nor for questioning our integrity, or for making us return to the store...

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but I ordered 2 pizzas at 5pm for a delivery at 7pm for a football game. The whole point of ordering 2 hours ahead, was so the pizza would arrive before my guests. But, the pizza didn’t arrive. I called twice, the second time was 7:30pm, when I telephoned “Italian Affair Pizza and Pasta” in North Cape May, NJ. and asked where my delivery was, I was told the pizza was on the way, and without an apology, they rudely hung up me. The pizza arrived at 7:35pm. An apology would’ve gone a long way, instead I received cold pizza. Again, I don’t know who needs to hear this, but the whole point of ordering the pizza in advance is so that it arrives in a timely fashi...

Only got take out, but the pizza was very good. Great sauce, not overloaded with cheese, but for me, the dough/crust is what takes pizza to the next level, and these guys have a very well executed New York style. Relatively thin, but still thick enough to have that nice soft chewy texture, but cooked at the right temp to have the crisp, crunch on the outside. I would certainly make this a regular spot if I lived in the area.

I ordered a chicken Caesar salad and asked for the chicken to not have any seasoning on it due to food Intolerances. They said they could not accommodate me due to the fact that all the chicken is pre cooked for the Salads. Really they could not cook me a plain Piece of chicken. Almost everytime we come to Cape May, we’ve ordered from here recently as it’s delicious and the portion sizes are great. Very fresh! They delivered to the Capers on Beach Ave on Memorial Day weekend and we appreciated not having to get into the car to drive to pick up food. It was delivered timely and the food was hot! Thank you!

I use to go here years ago and I remember it was really good. I just revisited this place as of Aug 3rd 2023 since 2019. I couldn’t wait to sit down have a nice dinner. If I could give this place a zero I would??? I ordered Chicken marsala!!! The chicken was thick, hard and extremely chewy.

Best pizza and people in New Jersey! Recommend trying their signature Grandma's s pizza. Also, dough is made fresh daily for pizzas.
